How we do it.

Our people just love what they do. We just make sure that they have

the tools, the space and the support to solve the challenges. It sounds

very simple but we like to keep it that simple.

People

Over the last 6 years, we have stabilized a core team of 45 developers

with very high experience in Open Source.  We have enrolled another 76

employees more during the last 3 years mentored by our core team.

We are planning a 250 employees company for 2009.

All our people hold at least a 4 year Engineering degree in Technology

and many of them are professional certified by leading technology

organizations.

Technology

During the last 6 years we have built software stacks with different Open

source projects. These different technologies can work together

seamlessly and very few requirements fall out of those stacks.

We particularly excel in Compiere, OpenCms, Liferay, Alfresco , Pentaho,

J2EE, AJAX, Flex and other Web 2.0 components.

Sometimes, our clients prefer proprietary software on a Microsoft

platform. Thanks to that we now hold a strong experience in migrating

legacy code to DotNet and projects based on Documentum.

Process

After learning and practicing methodologies and standards like ISO:9002,

CMMI, ITIL, ISO 27000, BS 7799 , DSDM, Scrum, Agile, UML Tenth Planet

have evolved a perfect IT Services Solution Model called Ten10.

Ten10 process, our proprietary service framework, breaks clients

requirements into multiple Service Requests which are the minimal

units of a project. Projects of any size and complexity can be handled

successfully.

Pricing

All projects are different. Identifying the right pricing start model is key for

you and for us. We use these four models but we are open to any other

proposal.

Fixed Price Modelis offered for services with relatively low-to-medium

levels of complexity.  We agree on a price and we deliver it.

Requirements need to be detailed.

Time and Material model sometimes, it's not possible to define the

whole project before starting or it's too complex to define. Here, we agree

on the resources allocated to the project.

Full Time Equivalent model helps to get more work done with more

cost savings.

Transaction-based pricing Model is best suited for projects with high

volume and repetitive processes.  Some of our clients want us to develop,

maintain and give support for the whole development. A good tactic is to

link the cost to a business transaction like pay per invoice, per character

entered, per account transactions, you name it.

Infrastructure

In our business, new or existing clients may have urgent needs and their

business just cannot afford a one month warm up to start a project. This

is especially the case when we work with other development companies

who cannot let go a business opportunity.

That is why we always reserve space for emergencies to incorporate new

employees. We are always ready for any urgent project.
